Dr. Ryan Bentley

Dr. Ryan Bentley Dr. Ryan Bentley is a compassionate chiropractor devoted to helping his patients achieve their optimal health. Communication and education are key foundations of Dr. Bentley’s approach to care as he listens, analyzes and uncovers each of his patients’ individual needs. Driven by a scientific approach to health care, Dr. Bentley combines the latest techniques, technologies and advancements in healthcare in caring for his patients.

Originally from Elkhart, IN, Dr.Bentley attended Indiana University (Bloomington, IN) where he received his bachelors degree in biology. Dr. Bentley received a second bachelors degree in human biology and his doctorate of chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences (Lombard, IL) in 2002, graduating cum laude.

While working to complete his doctorate of chiropractic, Dr. Bentley completed two fellowships in the department of anatomy at the National University of Health Sciences. He has also taught as a professor of anatomy and physiology at the College of Dupage (Weaton, IL) and the Chicago School of Massage Therapy.

In 2002, Dr. Bentley returned to Bloomington to practice chiropractic, physiotherapy, rehabilitation and functional medicine. Additionally, he has worked as a physician with Indiana University’s track and field athletes, evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries. He has also served as a lecturer for Metagenics, an industry leader in professional nutritional products.

Dr. Bentley married his wife, Terra, in 1999. They have three children, Reese (born April 1, 2003), Ella (born October 15, 2004) and Haden (born May 26, 2006). An active member of Ellettsville Christian Church, Dr. Bentley is committed to community outreach and service. He also serves as a volunteer chiropractor for Volunteers in Medicine, a free medical clinic serving low income Monroe and Owen county residents without health insurance.

Dr. Bentley is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Indiana State Chiropractic Association.
